Hi, My name is Pardis. I am 22 years old and I am studying science Biology. I have around 3 years babysitting experience and also I am volunteering in the maternity department of st Paul's hospital. I enjoy reading books for kids, playing puzzles and different game with them and help them in their homework. My last child care experience is watching two children, a 3 year-old and a 12-year old. I would go to their house and usually feed them a snack first. Then we would either play outside play downstairs in their room. They had tons of toys, books, card games, etc. So every day was different. I would also watch them on the weekends when their parents wanted to go out. Associate of science Biology Degree

I am a laid back person who 'goes with the flow' but who is also very bubbly! I have always been an active person and am very sociable, I enjoy making friends wherever I go! I have just completed my final year of university and have now graduated with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy. In the future I hope to either work in a neonatal intensive care unit in hospitals, or specialise in children's speech sound development. At home in England, I live with my parents and older brother in a small village in the countryside where I have lived my whole life. My parents have run their own marketing business together for 25 years and work in our local village. My brother is a farmer so we have lots of animals at home! I love to help on the farm when I am home and have just finished our lambing season where we had 200 lambs! We also have 4 dogs who are all border collies. When I was younger I used to play a lot of sports. I played netball at county level as well as gymnastics, dance, swimming and cheerleading so I was very busy! During my 3 years at university I did cheerleading which enabled me to meet many new friends and compete across the country. I love to rock climb and boulder and have done since a young age. I spend most of my free time either at the beach with my friends or going on walks, I love to be outside! However, I do also love a movie night and playing games indoors! I have recently graduated from university in England and am now a qualified Speech and Language Therapist. During my degree I completed many placements working with children and adults of all ages and abilities. I worked at a preschool caring for children ages 3 months - 4 years old. Daily tasks would involve feeding them breakfast, lunch and dinner, nap time and organising and carrying out themed crafts and activities.

I am Heather, hailing from beautiful Squamish, a nature enthusiast passionate about health and fitness, and youthful-at-heart 64-year-old with 5 years of caregiving experience. I am able-bodied, agile, energetic, and bring the vitality of my 40s! I love the outdoors and have an easy rapport with children. Using my nurturing nature and warm demeanour, I integrate a gentle and fun approach when interacting with children, sharing the joy of playing outdoors, and hopefully instilling a sense of love for nature. I believe in compassionately setting boundaries and non-physical discipline so your kids understand the value of respect and empathy from an early age. Equipped with a strong skill set in technology and a wealth of life experiences, I can provide your children with enriching activities that are both entertaining and educational. I am available to work part-time, every Tuesday to Sunday, from mornings through evenings, providing a wide range of services including cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, preparing meals for the kids, and much more. Additionally, I am fluent in English and French which will be beneficial in helping kids with homework or even teaching them a new language! My qualification includes First Aid Training, CPR Training, and a Master's degree. Moreover, my experience spans caregiving for children ranging from newborns to over 10 years. I am comfortable working with up to two children, and creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment is my utmost priority. I can also handle pet care duties and am comfortable adhering to any special dietary rules you may have at home. While I am new to the nanny field as a paid job, I have positive recommendations from my previous caregiving experiences. I have strong references from families and professional acquaintances who can vouch for my dedication, commitment, and ability to create a positive and enriching environment for children. I am a non-smoker and comfortable with travelling. I also have a driver's license and a vehicle for job-related travel if required. My preferred living arrangement is live-out; but rest assured, your children's well-being will always be my top priority. I am committed to being the best nanny I can be, and while I might make the odd mistake, just like any human being, my focus will always be the happiness and development of your children. Looking forward to being a part of your family's journey! --- I ADORE children and they seem to adore me too. In addition to extensive baby-sitting in younger years, I was instrumental in raising from infancy or very young age my younger sister and later, the baby boy in the home where I was a renter. Care activities I shared with parents included: Feeding, bathing, reading stories, sharing play-time, putting down for naps, doing crafts, daily excursions including walks and visits to the swimming pool. The two I cared during those years are both healthy, happy adults now and are contributing responsibly and successfully in the community. My sister created a family of her own with two children in university now, has had only one husband who she remains with after decades, and she has maintained a professional teaching job which allows here to live comfortably and take regular family holidays abroad. The other lad I cared for until about eight years old is now attending university, after working to earn some income to help pay for his advanced education. I could put you in touch with my sister and the parents of the boy if you would like as additional reference. --- My health and fitness level is excellent and I can carry out all of the duties you have outlined: cooking, cleaning, shopping and child-care, as a willing and energetic member of your household. I have university training in child development, psychology, nutrition and health education and taught in schools as part of my work in public health. Due to my studies and life experience, you might say I am the best trained parent. Although i dont have children of my own, I was a pseudo-parent, as stated above, doing everything for my sister, that my mother did, other than driving, because I was too young for that. In my public health work, and as an ESL teacher, I ran summer child activity programs, and I even taught a parenting course. I believe that understanding child development and communication is a huge asset in raising children. I also believe that the most important thing is to give them love. Not everyone loves children, but I certainly do. i’ve done deep work with adults that reveals their issues which developed in childhood underlie their current struggles. What this means is that how they are treated by significant others in their early years is very important. I will take this job very seriously even though I’m often lighthearted and silly, so it may not always be apparent.
