Hey there! I'm so excited to share a bit about my childcare journey with you. I'm a proud mom who's had plenty of hands-on experience caring for kids. From homeschooling my own child to babysitting for family members and even working as a caregiver in a hospital, I've worn many hats in the childcare world. When it comes to homeschooling, I dove right in from January 2020 to July 2022. It was such a fulfilling experience! Here's a glimpse of what I did: First off, I did a bunch of research to figure out the best educational approach for my family. Once I found the right fit, I went all in, picking out books and learning materials that would keep my kiddo engaged and excited about learning. I also transformed a corner of our home into a special learning space. It was all about creating an environment where curiosity could thrive. And let's not forget about the curriculum! I put together a plan that was tailored to my child's interests and learning style, with fun themes to keep things interesting throughout the school year. But it wasn't all about hitting the books. We got our hands dirty with all sorts of activities, from arts and crafts to science experiments and everything in between. I wanted to make sure learning was always hands-on and exciting. Of course, I was there every step of the way, offering guidance and support while still giving my child the space to explore and learn independently. All of this experience has given me some pretty valuable skills, if I do say so myself.
