I'm Katie! I am a music-loving pre-vet student from Taiwan with Canadian roots. I'm fluent in both English and Chinese, and am passionate about singing, playing the piano, and guitar. I also enjoy indulging in artistic activities like watching movies and drawing, and have a deep love for reading. I also actively engage in sports such as basketball, volleyball, and badminton. (was on my high school volleyball team)

I worked as a teaching assistant in the winter and summer camps of a cram school in Taiwan for 4 years, where I took care of children ranging from 4 to 14 years old. Moreover, I was given the incredible opportunity to teach two ukulele classes independently during the summer of 2022. Each class consisted of 15 to 20 students, allowing me to gain valuable experience in managing and instructing larger groups. My passion for working with children extends beyond the classroom to my personal life. Growing up with two siblings - one three years younger and the other 12 years younger than me - has enriched my ability to relate to teenagers and provide nurturing care for young children. I am eager to be a positive influence in the lives of your children and create happy memories with them.
