My passion for working with children is deeply ingrained within me and has persisted throughout my life. I've always eagerly looked forward to immersing myself in opportunities that allow for interaction with young minds, guiding them through the fascinating journey of growth and learning. To witness children's development and understanding of their surroundings and the ever-changing world is, for me, both a captivating spectacle and a priceless reward. There's an indescribable joy that comes with the opportunity to observe children as they navigate through new experiences and challenges. I find it thrilling to watch the gears turning in their minds as they embark on trials and triumphs, devising strategies to overcome difficulties. I am passionate about providing children the space to discover and explore on their own, fostering their innate curiosity and nurturing their problem-solving abilities. In my role as a childcare provider, I have always been inspired by the Montessori pedagogy. The principles of respect for the child, the prepared environment, and the Montessori materials inform my approach to childcare. I encourage engagement through play-based learning, basing my method on the belief that a child's most effective learning experiences occur when they are given the freedom to play and explore. One of my core strengths is the patience and compassion I bring to every interaction with children. I deeply understand that each child is unique, with their own individual needs, backgrounds, and perspectives. I see it as essential to tune into their singular nuances, fostering an environment that accounts for and adapts to the varying needs of each individual. I have 3 sisters who I have taken care of for years! I also used to volunteer at a day camp that worked with children 6-12, I also have 2 years experience working in a daycare setting as an ECE support staff!
