I’m an outgoing and passionate educator and parent. I currently live with my two teens and our dogs in Kitsilano. I love working with children of all ages and I have been employed with the VSB and Ministry of Education for nearly 25 years. I seek ongoing professional development opportunities and my current focus is trauma-informed practice. I’m detail and task-oriented and have an extensive resume working with children aged 5-13. I have a large extended family as well, and my experience with babies and early childhood is also rich. I truly enjoy working and playing with children and supporting families. I have experience working with children with a range of needs (physical, cognitive and social/emotional) and I welcome the opportunity to discuss and support best ways to support your child.

I’ve been a VSB teacher for 25 years with experience teaching K-8, ELL, resource support for students with special needs. I’m a parent and have raised a son and daughter (teens) and I currently teach children in acute care at BCCH.
