Mayra Veronica moved to Toronto in 2013 from Machachi, Pichincha Ecuador. She has three daughters and a dog. Veronica worked as an early childhood educator for more than 10 years in her native country of Ecuador, as well as in a community program called “Yo Si Puedo” to eradicate illiteracy. In Canada, Veronica has volunteered with Muse Arts, Teach to Learn, and at Saint-Agustin church in an after school program. Veronica is a founding member of Colibri Collective.

Early Childhood Assistant experienced working with young children, newcomer immigrants and refugees’ children
