My name is Madison I was born and raised in Wasaga Beach and Collingwood, my family has always lived in Collingwood beginning with my great grandparents. I live with my mom, dad, sister, brother and two Golden Retrievers. I pride myself on always bringing positivity and kindness to my family and friends. I attended Collingwood Collegiate Institute for high school and graduated with a 90% average and honours with distinction. I applied and received admission to Guelph University for Biomedical Engineering in the fall of 2021 but decided to take a year off, this is when I began my first nannying job for a family with 2 young sons. I currently am attending Western University for Political Science I will be going into my second year in the fall of 2023. I am looking for a position this summer from the beginning of June (when I finish school) until the end of August (when I start school).

My most recent position was this summer of 2023 I worked for a family with one infant son who was 11 month when I started in June. I had a very flexible schedule working mostly 5 days of the week from 8am until 5pm. Frequently I also would work longer days, weekends, any other times they needed. I was responsible for meals, naps, bottles, playtime, walks, transportation to extra activities, and planning outside activities like attending play groups. I also accompanied the family on a 3 day trip during the summer to a cottage. I did additional cleaning, laundry, and organizing. In 2022 I worked for a family with two young sons. I mainly took care of the youngest who was 9 months when I started, occasionally I also looked after the older son as well who was 3. I began in January and worked full-time throughout the year until September when I left for school. I would begin my days at 8am until 4:30-5pm throughout the day I was responsible for snacks, naps, bottles, diaper changes, lunch, playtime, walks, and any other important daily routines as requested by their parents. In any free time, I did some cleaning as well. I also had a brief babysitting job for a family in my neighbourhood while I was in High school, they had two children a daughter who was 10 and a son who was 8 as well as 2 dogs. I was on call for the parents whenever they had late-night work events or personal events. I would usually care for the kids at night, I would feed them dinner help them relax before bed with their nightly routines and then put them to bed. I also helped care for their 2 dogs. I grew up with a brother who is 4 years younger than me and have always taken care of him for my parents, whether it be cooking, cleaning up after him, taking him to school, offering support with school work, and being there for him when he needs me.
