My name is Angelina and I am a first year student at Wilfred Laurier University. I am originally from Richmond Hill however I was born in Toronto. I live with my mother and father; no pets but I've always wanted a dog or a sibling. I grew up being very active and I love playing sports and working out. I played competitive soccer for about 13 years, I love reading, art, music and helping others. I am fluent in French, have great responsibility skills, from being a camp counsellor for the last few years, am very energetic with a positive attitude. Not only do I love playing sports, but I love watching them as well specifically Hockey and Soccer. Finally, I love helping other's and working with children because they brighten up my day so much, and I love seeing the impact I have on them.
I volunteered my entire summer at a local daycare assisting with toddlers from 18 months to 4 years old. Additionally, I have helped assist and babysit my neighbors children for a few hours if there parents had a parent teacher conferences or had to stay a work late. I have been a summer camp counsellor for two years now and I have worked with children ages 6-12 within both of those years. Next I coached Preschool and Children's soccer, (3-9 year old's) for 9 months within the City of Richmond Hill (where I am from). Finally, I volunteered at my local church with assisting their Greek school program and teaching the Kindergartens how to read and write in Greek, would lead games and activites and play with them during their recess, and help them with any songs they would sing for performances. Furthermore, I would teach children from 4-14 years old how to Greek dance, run songs, plays, poems, assist with costumes and anything else the members of the church needed me to help them with.
