Hello! I'm Sophie, a full of life 22-year-old Linguistics student at Concordia University with a passion for speech pathology and ESL. I've shifted my life from the outskirts of Washington, DC to the beautiful city of Montreal. Over the past five years, I've been leveraging my strong love for outdoor activities and creativity in arts and crafts to bring joy to children of all ages. As a non-smoker with a driver's license and a strong swimming ability, safety and well-being of children are always my top-most priorities. I have experience in working with children with disabilities and I am comfortable managing children of all age groups, even newborns. I am searching for both Full-Time and Part-Time Nanny, Babysitter, Nanny/Housekeeper or Nanny/Tutor roles within the city. I would prefer a Live-Out arrangement and can start immediately. My availability spans across the whole week - from early mornings to late nights. Weekends are flexible with availability majorly leaning towards mid-day to evenings. My duties often extend beyond child care and include: cooking, light housekeeping, preparing meals for kids, running errands, transporting children, bathing and dressing children, adhering to special dietary rules, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and providing pet care. Although I don't own a vehicle, I am able to travel and navigate the charms of the city with ease, ensuring the children in my care always have a day full of fun and adventure. While I may be American by birth, being a Canadian at heart has helped me build a diverse and multicultural perspective that I bring into my caretaking. I babysat children of various ages, ranging from enfants to 12 years old all throughout high school. Also, I was a nanny for two 8 year old boys during my first year of university.

I am currently in my last year of university on track to graduate December 2024 with a bachelors degree in linguistics.
