We're in search of a compassionate, cheery, and dedicated individual to join our caregiving team to assist in caring for our beloved Mom who, unfortunately, suffered a stroke in 2020. This role involves WEEKEND SHIFTS, primarily from 7 am to 3 pm, though there may be occasional shifts extending until 11 pm. There's also a possibility for additional shifts, providing you with more opportunities. Please do not apply unless you are fully available for weekends. Your responsibilities would include assisting with transfers, bathing, personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, executing exercise routines and accompanying for short outings within the neighbourhood. Applicants should have a minimum of two years experience in a similar caregiving role, and it's essential that you have experience with or the willingness to work with stroke, hearing impairment, speech impairment, and paralysis. This part-time, live-out position requires less than 20 hours per week, mainly during mornings, mid-days, and evenings on Saturdays and Sundays. Our family can provide a car for use during job hours, though a driver's license is not a prerequisite. We are located near Rockyview Hospital in S.W.
