I am seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Live-In caregiver for immediate start. This full time position involves care for a loved one; a role that requires somebody with a deep understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's to provide the highest quality of care in a warm and family-oriented environment. The work schedule will encompass mornings, middays, evenings, and nights from Monday to Friday, amounting to around 30-40 hours per week. It essentially involves both physical assistance and emotional support, creating a safe, comforting space for my loved one. Job responsibilities span from personal care tasks such as bathing and toileting assistance, dressing and grooming, to mobility-related tasks including range of motion exercises, helping with walking and escorting to appointments. Household chores are part of the responsibilities, which involve housekeeping, laundry, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning. The caregiver will also be expected to manage grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, and errand running, uplifting our loved one's daily life by planning visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbors, friends, or family. As the role does not require any automobile use, owning a driver's license is not necessary. The perfect candidate must be comfortable with or have previous experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and managing incontinence. Having extensive knowledge or experience dealing with arthritis is also a significant advantage. The ideal caregiver for us would be someone patient, understanding, and empathic, capable of becoming a pillar of support not only for our loved one but also for the entire family during this challenging time.
