I am looking for a part time caregiver, or a full time live in Caregiver, for my 36 yr old son Travis, who has Fragile X Syndrome. Your duties would be administering meds, bathing, personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, writing daily logs, and going for walks with Travis. He is usually a very happy guy, but does have violent out bursts occasionally. We live on a farm on the outskirts of Grindrod B.C. You would be living in Travis house with him, and would have your own bedroom with on-suite. A respite worker comes in two days a week for 5 hours each day. Extra time off can be arranged as needed.
