My mom is 52 years old and recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer has metastasized to her bone and she has quite a bit of difficulty walking. She also has an end-jejunostomy. My mom also has a central line where she receives tpn. Luckily she is still very independent and being a nurse she is extremely proficient and knowledgeable when it comes to her care.
