Our family is searching for a hard-working care provider. Ideally, you would have: - Experience working with people with high-care-level needs and be willing to learn - Past references - Live near or be willing to commute to Mississauga Patient has high level care needs as she is paralyzed and has communication difficulties. You should be willing to help with services such as personal care, tube feedings, medication administration, companionship, and light housework. You should be comfortable performing transfers (with or without the hoyer lift) by yourself. We can offer training on how to use equipment and machines, but prior experience is preferred. We're looking for a part-time caregiver that can fill-in for our regular staff when they're sick and/or away. We can also offer regular hours on top of being on-call: - Wednesday and Thursday: 1-8pm / Occassionaly overnight as well - Weekends: 9-11am / Occasionally overnight as well Pay is negotiable, dependent on experience level.
