In search of a dedicated and organized full-time caregiver to aid our elderly mother suffering from dementia in her own home. You would primarily be required from Monday to Friday, from 10 to 4 pm and possible more in the future. You would provide invaluable assistance such as maintaining general cleanliness of personal spaces, attention to detail, meal planning, preparation with some cooking preferably 2-3 times a week, laundry, and day-to-day tasks that can enhance our loved one's quality of life. Her husband lives with her as well and is fully healthy and cognitive although elderly. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to bathing assistance, dementia care, and support with walking. You would also help with housekeeping tasks like bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting and hand washing dishes as well as assisting with toileting, ensuring she maintains her dignity and comfort. Although a driver's license is not mandatory for this role and automobile use is not applicable, experience with or willingness to work with dementia patients is necessary.
