My 89 year old father recently stopped driving and needs transportation assistance getting to appointments and social events. He has a few friends who help, but needs back-up support for times they aren't available. He mostly uses his wheelchair, but can move on crutches (in a limited way). He has a van someone could drive, or alternatively a folding wheelchair that would fit in someone's car. This would be a super casual position, as he doesn't go out a whole lot. This would work best for someone who is willing to drive him if they are able to fit it into their schedule on any given day (and if not, that's obviously okay!). Just having another possibility of someone who might be free to drive him places would help tremendously. Thanks so much!!
