My wife has fallen many times and uses a walker and wheelchair. She requires assistance with washing and dressing in the morning, as well as cleaning up after wearing depends all night. She needs help for one hour per day, every day, including assistance with showers twice a week. Only one hour a day is required. If there is time left over, the caregiver could assist with general duties such as doing laundry, washing dishes, loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning the commode, and making beds. This care is needed for one hour per day, seven days a week. We would prefer the same caregiver consistently, or possibly two caregivers providing consistent care.
