Title: Part-Time Senior/Health Caregiver Needed I am a private individual seeking a compassionate and reliable senior/health caregiver to assist in the care of an elderly family member. This is a part-time opportunity, requiring availability on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, totaling between 20 to 30 hours weekly. The preferred start date is immediate. Job responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including, but not limited to: ambulation assistance, heavy patient lifting and transfers, assistance with personal hygiene (bathing, toileting, dressing), meal planning and preparation, pet care assistance, escorting to appointments, planning social visits and outings, and providing Alzheimer's/Dementia care and palliative care. Experience with using a Hoyer lift, patient positioning, bed bath, catheter/colostomy care, lifts and transfers, and bed pan usage is mandatory. The caregiver should be willing and able to work with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Stroke, Hospice care, and Diabetic patients. Familiarity with assisting the bedridden, individuals suffering from incontinence, visual and hearing impairment, arthritis, and brain tumor patients will also be appreciated. No driver's license is required for this position as the family can provide a car for use on the job if necessary. This is strictly a live-out position. The ideal candidate should be patient, empathetic, and have a genuinely caring and respectful approach towards elderly care.
