I’d be excited to get an opportunity and have an interview with you. Thank you Joy

I’ve worked as a nanny for over 8 years now with 3 different families in the USA and Canada. My first family was in Michigan and I took care of their triplets for 2 years. My second family was in Calgary and I took care of their two boys for over 4 years. Most recently i’ve worked for a family in Whitby, Ontario for over 2 years. I took care of a 6 year old girl, her name is Lexie. This job was quite challenging for from the start but I’ve been able to adapt over time. The parents had been separated and I work for both Lexie’s father and mother. My job is to be there for Lexie. I’ve been working with this family for 2 years now. I have a very good experience working with them. They are really nice to me but unfortunately (for me) it’s time for the mom to move on to the next chapter in her life. She will be able to take care of Lexie on her own now. Just recently, I decided to get a jump start in my career and study the PSW program. It often happens to me that seniors stop me at the store and they talk to me or ask for help. One time I met a lovely old man in Walmart. He was looking for some ingredient. I helped him find it and then we talked about healthy food and about his family. We ended up talking for almost half an hour and he had the impression that I was a personal support worker. Experiences like that made me realize that deep down I love helping them and socializing with them. I think this career will be perfect for me. I also have a reliable car which I don’t mind using for things like taking my client out for grocery shopping or for doctor appointments. My classes are on Saturday so I’m available to work during the rest of the days. I’m looking to start this job in March. I will take care of your parents like I would take care of my own. I hope that I can be the perfect support worker you have been looking for. I’d be excited to get an opportunity to have an interview with you.
