I am Desiree. I am a landed immigrant from the Philippines. Back there, I am a registered nurse and had practiced my profession for almost 6 years. I came to Canada to provide a better life for my family. I work at an endoscopy clinic for 2 years as an administrative assistant. Prior to that, I was at a different endoscopy clinic for a year as a receptionist. I have a PSW certificate and was able to work with a quadriplegic patient doing morning care, taking the vital signs, wound care, bowel routine, urine catheter change, bath, medication administration; and a patient with Alzheimer's. I also passed my CPRNE and will register as an RPN. I could honestly say that I do give my best in everything I do and provide clients with the best possible care. I have the nursing skills and abilities, hardworking, compassionate, responsible, good work ethics, knows how to anticipate and puts the client's welfare above all.
