Hello future employers, 😊blessings to one and all. I am Marites " tess"( for short ) 41years old single and originally from a beautiful tropical island of Philippines. I been here in Montreal, Canada for 9 years. In short I am a Canadian citizen already since last year. (Thank You. 😊) I am very easy to get along with, always positive, happy person and hard working. I love taking care of children and olds. I love my job and I am happy and appreciate what am I doing.. before coming here, I worked at Taiwan in a nursing home. I was there for 3 years. And coming here I worked as a nanny in family at L'esterel up north of montreal. Til we both agreed (previous employer) that I want to stay in montreal. I been working with a lady with dementia helping her in her daily needs like cooking, bathing, dressing and most of all walking and doing simple activity with her. Listening and loving her made me a better person and appreciates life more beautiful and wonderful. Taking care of someone's important in their lives is the most risky on both sides. But, being honest and with true and genuine heart nothing beats That's why I love all my clients. Not only clients to me but they are all my grandma, bubby, Zaidy and baba to me. Preparing meals, ordering and organizing her/his pills. Booking and checking all doctor's appoinments, assisting and giving bath and grooming. Give her snacks and go with her/him for a walk. Do exercises, reading and solving/assisting his/her puzzles, singing together. A good listener to him /her and doing all her groceries. Accompanied her /him to her hair and nails salon. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Worked 3 years in a nursing home at Taiwan.
