Hi. My name is Lynn, I have worked in child care services for more than 20 yrs. I also work side by side with the elderly, sick and special needs. I am fifty two years of age. I have two wonderful grown children. I love and enjoy pets, art, walks, reading, etc. my hobbies includes: Arts and crafts, reading, writing, crochet, learning new things to do is my favorite. I can say that I am responsible, respectful, well-behaved reliable, Motivated, Joyful, Kind, Ambitious, Creative, grateful, sympathetic, courageous, hard-working, Persistent, systematic. I started working with the elderly in private homes and private facilities. I was trained by on the job training and from there made many friends and have lost many. You need to be patient, repeat if need be. Speak slowly, care for their needs, as well as personal needs\private needs. Always trying a different way to be understood if needed. They are like children, only a tad bigger and more wrinkles. :) Care for the medication to be given, proper distribution is required to be checked twice. Knowledge of their ways, medical history, Dr. number's hospital number, 911. In case of an emergency. As well as making sure that their diet is a good one for them.
