I started my career as a caregiver when my Mother took ill with terminal bone Cancer. I am one of 15 children and had a very promising career but when my mother took ill I knew I had to put my career on hold and take care of her. I had caregivers for my mother but I saw a lack of compassion in them so I decided I was the one who would take care of her. I am a very caring and compassionate person and I have devoted the past 20 years to taking care. I love my job and do it in spades. I am an energetic, responsible person and calm in emergencies. I am self motivated and can manage and run a household with precision and of course the care of your love one is paramount. I love to write and I am in the final stages of a novel. Exercise and healthy living is my passion and taking walks and keeping fit. My attributes are : kindness, caring, compassionate, responsible, and when your love ones are in my care they are in capable hands. My goal is to make sure your love ones are getting excellent care, great companionship and comfort.

I am seeking a position as a caregiver/companion. My experience is over 20 years taking care of clients with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Cancer and strokes, feeding tube, injections, I prepare nutritious, healthy meals, medication preparation and assistance with personal hygiene, grocery shopping, laundry, housekeeping. (Spotless Driving record). Current Police Clearance. I am a certified PSW and have CPR and First Aid Certification. ALLERGY: CATS. I live in the west end so would prefer clients accessible via TTC.. My references are stellar and I am a very caring and compassionate caregiver. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Health Care Certified, nurses Aide, extensive experience with palliative care( Brain, Stomach, lungs Cancer) Stroke. Prefer live-in I like being there in the morning to help them get their day started with a smile and a cheerful good morning. It is a sense of comfort for the elderly. Trust is paramount and compassion goes a long way. I think it sets the tone for the rest of the day. And I am a caregiver because I truly care.
