My name is Joan, 44 years old and a Filipina. I had a 3 years old son but he was with my husband back home. I am a graduate of BS Nursing in the Philippines. I worked in Singapore as Nursing Aide for the elderly people for 5 years. Here in Canada I worked as a live in caregiver for a couple aged 79 and 84. The husband had Parkinsons and his wife had shoulder surgery. I looked after them for 3 years. I assisted them in their medications, changed diaper and help them in their activities of daily living such as personal hygiene. I also help in doing light household chores incliding laundry, vacumming and dusting. I helped also the wife to do groceries and cooking. I loved this kind of job so I can say that I am trustworthy, patient and a reliable one. I am looking for a fulltime job now and hope I can find one in this site. Thank you very much.
