I worked as a physical therapist for an elderly man with orthopedics problems and dementia for about 15 years and I cared for my grandmother, who had diabetes and heart disease, for about 5 years. In addition I cared for my grandfather, who had orthopedics problem for about 3years. My experience volunteering in senior centres in Edmonton, provided me with valuable experiences in providing leisure activities for the elderly.
