I currently work as an Engage Life Coordinator in Seniors' home. My main work is to engage seniors in daily activities which I organize as well. Prior this job I worked in media but I wanted to find something more meaningful and I was searching for a job in which I can be of help to people. who need assistance. I came to Canada 10 months ago, I came alone and I had to find a place to live and a job to support myself. It was a struggle and still is, I have been working in the seniors' place for 7 months, but unfortunately in 2 months my working visa will expire and I will have to either leave the country or find a job where I will be provided with sponsorship. Seniors which I work with are heart broken and are trying to find a way for me to stay with them. They say that they have never seen more hard working person than I am and that they never before had organized that many activities. Well what to say more, I do believe their words say lots about me and my work. I graduated from Chinese and I am a teacher of Eastern European Languages. In my past I worked as a nanny in the USA and a teacher for children from 5 to 15 years old. I am very good with people who need special attention. I also volunteer with a couple of organizations who work with homeless and people who struggle with addictions.
