I come from an Asian (Filipino by birth) background. I am married and have two children (based in the USA) with a total of five grandchildren. I am experienced in the care of children and adults and I have a medical background. I have worked in the United States for 10 years and 9 years in Canada, and the extensive experience I have gained is truly an asset in my work. I have also acted as a "patient's advocate"- meaning I bring them to their doctors and am able to ldiscuss and comprehend all instructions. I have clean police records from the USA and here in Canada. In addition, I drive my own vehicle.

I have had extensive training and experience in the care of seniors/adults. I have also worked with the Philippine Red Cross. I take the patient/resident to their medical appointments; assisted in their personal daily grooming care, supervision and reminder of medications. Being a patient's advoctae, I am able to discuss with their doctors the condition of the client because of the daily monitoring of vital signs, intake and output and other observations. I have the experience of G-tube feeding, use of the hoyer lift, treatment of wounds, catheter, hospice care and assist with routine therapeutic activities as directed by supervisor. Provide clean, safe sanitary environment, companion care and make the client feel completely safe and secure. I have worked as a Nursing Assistant in the USA and also have worked for two agencies. I have experience taking care of hospice patients. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have worked in the USA as a nursing assistant for 10 years. I migrated to Canada and have worked in Canada for 10 years as a personal support worker. I have a clean police record both in the USA and Canada. I drive my own vehicle and with the extensive ttraining and experience I have has proven to be an asset in my work. Furthermore, I have earned best caregiver awards in both countries.
