Here are some (but not all) of the certificates I have: FoodSafe Level 1 (Oct 2015); Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C (Nov 2015); Emergency First Aid CPR/AED Level C (Jan 2015); WHMIS (Jan 2015). I have a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (Calgary Police Service: Sep 9, 2015; Royal Canadian Mounted Police: Sep 16, 2015) In the past, I have done 4 hours of volunteer work a week (2 hours a day) of speech therapy near White Rock for a stroke survivor. I have been doing this since January 2016 (she has given me written permission to use her as a reference). I did this for about 6 months. I also volunteered for a group of dementia patients in a recreational setting. I also volunteered for a kayaking charity for people with special needs. I have a verbal IQ at the 95th percentile, as tested by a psychologist on September 13th, 2010. Although I live in Burnaby, I am willing to travel throughout Greater Vancouver, as long as it is accessible by transit. I can swim, and I like visiting pools, but I can't swim "well".

Several years ago I was hired by an acquaintance of mine to sweep up the kitty litter in her bathroom and remove cat feces from her living room and do general cleaning. I also have cat sat for several other aquaintances, and I did things like washing their linens and vacuuming the floors, washing dishes, etc. I also have watered houseplants, taken in mail, fed pet fish in an aquarium, and fed and changed the water dishes for caged birds and the dog. I had pet hamsters and turtles as a child, so I have some experience with taking care of them. I have had to do veterinary procedures on cats, such as tube feeding and inserting an IV saline drip into the cat's back. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have a WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certificate which I completed using the Danatec Educational Services Ltd. computer program at Alberta Health and Safety Training Institute's northeast campus in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in January of 2015. One of my duties as a production worker at a Value Village Thrift Store was to clean the kitchen. When I was a cashier at a grocery store, one of my duties was to clean the cash register station. I have a clear Vulnerable Sector Check from September 2015, but I can do it again if you like. I had an audiologic report done in November of 2014, and my hearing is perfect. English is my native language. I was born in Canada. I don't smoke, drink, or do any drugs. I am willing to travel within the Greater Vancouver, as long as it's accessible by public transit.
