I retired from teaching three years ago. I was a teacher with Dufferin Peel for 30 years. I taught grades 1-12. I have always enjoyed being around people however, children and the elderly have always had a special place in my heart. I love keeping active as I enjoy hiking and exercising. I have a great sense of humor and resolve problems easily. I enjoy helping others and am a very compassionate individual. I always take pride in my work and work to the best of my abity. Children and the elderly bring me such joy.

I have never had a job as a housekeeper but take pride in my home. I often get compliments from friends or family on how clean and organized my home looks. I think this correlates to my job as a teacher where I loved being organized as I can think clearly and feel ready to tackle my next assignment. I often stayed after school. to make sure the classroom environment was presentable for the next day. I have always had a house that I take pride in.
