I have been a Professional Nanny, Personal Assistant, House Manager, & Mother's Helper for over 20 years. I am currently looking for a position possibly around the South End of Sudbury. Communication is key to running a family. Including supporting the day to day functions of the home, such as running errands, (groceries, dry cleaning, pick up-drop off children, etc. ), food prep, assisting the mother in daily roles, organizing, tidying, laundry, etc., and supporting the daily routine allowing parents to focus more on their family time. I am a Fanshawe College Graduate in Recreation and Leuisure Services; programming for children, youth and adults, and have also worked as an after school teacher in London, ON. I am exteamly adaptable, domesticated and organized, and love the busy bustle of everyday life within a family setting. I regulate encouraging one to strive within themselves to be the best one can be through safety, structure, stability, scheduling, play, nutrition, and learning. I am a good old Northern Canadian with Canadian/British values, morals, etiquette, behaviour and common sense. Re-direction and positive reinforcement are my main factors of discipline. (However I support and follow parents directions. ) I am very down to earth and believe that play, learning and quality family time are extremely important to developing skills that aid in the growth of children/youth. 20 year of housekeeping experience. I support the day to day tidying routine. Yet I believe that a family should have a bi-weekly cleaner to get the good hands and knees scrub; as flexible part-time house management does not allow for such deep cleans.
