My name is Hayley . I am a 30-year-old originally from the UK and currently married. I have over 12 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. After finishing college, I decided to do a ski season, having studied travel & tourism. I completed my first season in Switzerland in 2011/12. That was when I fell in love with the mountains, the outdoor lifestyle, and the people. I have enjoyed working within the industry, particularly, meeting people from different walks of life and hearing about their stories, experiences, and adventures. I have been fortunate enough to travel and work in a variety of countries, including France, Italy, Bulgaria, Japan, and Canada, to name a few. These experiences have given me great insights into different cultures, and enabled me to easily adapt to different lifestyles. They've also helped me develop my skills and knowledge within the industry. Over the years, I have held a variety of job roles, starting out as a hotel assistant in 2011 before becoming a housekeeping manager. Later, I held numerous roles such as campsite manager, chalet host/chef, lodge manager, resort manager, and I finally moved into the private household industry. In the past three years, I have been working in the private household industry for the same family, living in and carrying out various duties. I was responsible for all food preparations – from breakfast to dinner, accommodating anywhere from three to sixteen people while considering all dietary requirements. Additionally, I was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of two houses (each accommodating up to 10 people), gardening, maintaining the pool area, performing general household duties such as food shopping, and providing transfers to airports or appointments when needed. A key factor in all these jobs has been the standard of cleanliness. The expectations were consistently high, varying from personal homes to catered ski chalets to restaurants. Another important factor has been providing excellent customer service, ensuring all clients were happy and satisfied with the received services. I consider myself a hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy individual, with great attention to detail and a flexible demeanor. In my free time, I enjoy hobbies such as skiing, biking, hiking, cooking, attending exercise classes, and watching football. Furthermore, I enjoy reading and participating in a variety of crafts.

I have worked within the hospitality and tourism industry for over 11 years. I have been a housekeeping manager within a hotel, cleaned a private house for 3 consecutive years including maintaining the grounds, ran ski chalets where I cooked and cleaned and worked in restaurants. A key element to all of these jobs were the standard of cleanliness. The expectation was very high as it varied from personal homes to catered ski chalet to restaurants. Being a housekeeping manager meant I had to ensure that all staff met the cleaning expectations.
