My name is Teanna, I am 32 years old and I have lived a very full life of diverse experiences. Growing up the oldest female of 6 children, I was set up to be mature from the beginning. My youngest 2 siblings are adopted with special needs. This diverse and demanding upbringing allowed me to realize my ability to care and compassion was seemingly with few limits. We also did foster care all through my childhood so there were give or take, between 8 - 12 people living within my home space at any given time. Having a safe and clean home was important to my family so as much as possible, these duties were spread between us all. Naturally, the majority fell to the oldest. Once grown and living independently, I continued to provide these kinds of services to the community of which I lived, caring for a multitude of children with neuro divergence, physical and emotional challenges as well as the elderly. I started my own small business providing housekeeping to clients part time along side other career ventures. I have been an instructor of art therapy at a non profit organization created to support people struggling with mental health. I have extensive experience in customer service, property management, culinary services, reception, and for the last 5 years, Tree planting in remote harsh climates. I am as strong physically as I am compassionate, and I pride myself on integrity, respect, punctuality, attention to detail, sense of humour as well as reliability and kindness. Through a variety of self studies I have created and continue to develop a personal practice that facilitates my well being. I enjoy reading, nature wonders, learning about plants and land cultures, yoga, badminton, biking and culinary exploration. I enjoy making healthy meals and desserts for myself and my partner. I spent a lot of my 20s travelling the world, learning first hand from diverse cultures about their perspectives, philosophy and way of existing. I am retired from travelling now and am looking for a consistent, reliable schedule to help me settle into this new community, funding my continued education online. I hope to speak with you soon! I was born in a family of 8 people, and I the oldest female so alot of cleaning jobs were appointed to me as much as the child care. Naturally I took these skills and applied them to my independence once living on my own. I have been providing cleaning services for my communties since my early 20s and have just relocated to the Comox Valley looking to build up my client base in this new area. I have experience in Residential, Airbnb, Commerical, Fitness Studio, Deep Clean, Move outs, etc. My personal company is called CEDARS Cleaning Services, I am advertising on facebook as well as craigslist. I pay attention to detail, set up a priorities list with my clients in accordance to their budget and always meet for a consultation first to see the space, give an accurate estimate and get a sense of each other, creating familiarity and trust.
