Personal Background:
My name is Joy I am a Nigerian currently undergoing my studies with Canadore College in North Bay. I have vast experience working in hospitality, leisure, health and humanitarian organizations. Aside my professional role and work, I also have a personal business in transportation and general contracts where I provide services to families and students ranging from personal transportation, running errands and cleaning. I bring a diverse and dynamic set of experiences both professionally and personally. Coming from a family that values education and hard work, I have always been driven to excel and contribute positively to my community and workplace.
Family Status:
I am married with two children, which has enriched my abilities in time management, patience, and multitasking. My family inspires me daily to be a dependable and proactive individual both at home and in my professional environment.
Interests and Hobbies:
Outdoor Activities: I love soccer sport, enjoying weekends exploring participating in community sport events. These activities reflect my commitment to health, perseverance, and community engagement.
Volunteering: I regularly volunteer at the LIONS club where I participate in community clean-up days and other community service events, which underscores my commitment to community service and teamwork.
Reading and Continuous Learning: A voracious reader, I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction, focusing on topics ranging from technology and psychology to leadership. This hobby complements my professional life, providing me with fresh perspectives and continual learning.

I am good in adapting to new situations and tasks due to their experience working with diverse teams and in fast-paced environments. I have learned to be open and firm with decisions, ensuring everyone understands the goal and projects are completed efficiently. My strong communication skills have been beneficial in my various job roles and team management roles, fostering strong relationships both at work and outside of work.
While I worked at Savannah Suites Ltd., I learned a lot about hospitality and how to deal with guests. I focused on doing great housekeeping duties like cleaning, mopping and dusting of internal and external facility. Apart from Savannah Suites, here in North bay, I have picked up casual cleaning jobs for commercial facilities with Cleanex where I support in cleaning, washing, vacuuming and dusting of surface areas. And also understand the proper use and application of cleaning agents as well as health and safety regulations.
