Hello there. My name is Desirée. I come from a large, close knit family of 7. I am happily married and we have one 15 year old son. We are a very musical and artistic little family and we love the outdoors. My husband is an amazing artist and musician, our son is an excellent guitarist, and I play piano and compose music. I also love watercolour painting and creative writing. I used to teach piano and voice lessons. I have my Bachelor's degree in Language Education as well as my ECE certification and I worked in that field for a number of years; assisting classrooms, students with special needs, substituting, daycare work, and tutoring. I also had a dayhome for about 5 years until I moved and my new home could no longer accommodate having a dayhome. That was my favourite job. I filled our days with many activities, including crafts, baking, singing songs, puppet theatre, dress up, and many field trips to parks. I am very comfortable with infants and children of all ages. I have also done some personal assisting and caregiving of elderly ones and I have operated a small business doing residential cleaning contracts. I have excellent references in all of these areas. I am loving, patient, capable and reliable. I believe in working closely with parents to ensure that their child has the best possible care. I look forward to hearing from you.

Over the years I have been a commercial cleaning janitor. My contracts included a public library, a high school, a dental clinic, a government building, and office buildings. I have also done residential housecleaning and can provide great references. I work quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. I find it very satisfying to see the good results of my labours. Duties have included: surface cleaning, bathroom cleaning and disinfecting, polishing fixtures, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, garbage pick up and disposal, dusting and polishing surfaces. I have also done outdoor clean up and yard work. I have organized household items and filed paperwork. I am willing and eager to take on new responsibilities, I am easy to train and I catch on quickly. I take pride in doing a great job. I am respectful, kind and I love to work with people.
