I'm currently seeking a part-time housekeeper to join my household and help maintain a clean and comfortable environment, while also contributing to some light cooking duties. This role is best suited for someone who has experience working in house and apartment cleaning, and who is comfortable using their own vehicle for transportation, as a driver's license is required. The housekeeper will be expected to work one day a week - preferably on Thursdays - for eight hours. This schedule will consist of morning, midday, and evening shifts, totalling to less than 20 hours per week. Core responsibilities for this position include bed making and linen changing, as well as laundry duties which involve washing and drying clothing and household items. Kitchen cleaning tasks will be required, including washing dishes, cleaning inside and outside of the fridge, oven, dishwasher, cupboards, pantry, counters and floors. This role also involves cleaning the inside of the home and the immediate external areas, such as the entrance and patio. The ability to cook is also desired, as the housekeeper will sometimes need to prepare simple meals and may be asked to cater and serve on special occasions for family or guests.
