Job Vacancy: Housekeeper at Kintore College At Kintore College, we are looking for a dedicated housekeeper to join our team in a part-time, live-out capacity. Your tasks will extend across various essential operations of the college, including the kitchen, dining hall, cleaning and laundry services. Responsibilities: • Preparing and cooking meals in the kitchen, with duties ranging from washing and chopping fruits and vegetables • Arranging table settings and ensuring they are complete, which includes table cloths, utensils, napkins, and plates • Executing a range of housekeeping responsibilities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping and polishing • Handling laundry, which consists of collecting, washing, drying, folding and ironing linens, personal laundry, as well as tablecloths and napkins • Maintaining the inventory in the walk-in fridge and pantry storage specifically for breakfast and meal-time requirements • Keeping track of the menu of the day and preparing necessary items • Ensuring the regular refill and cleanliness of all dispenser items in the residence, snack room, and pantry Our ideal applicant will demonstrate a team-player attitude and have good communication skills. They will be able to demonstrate an active listening ability, be detail-oriented, co-operative, discreet, and responsible. Working hours are estimated to be about 20 to 30 per week, with the work schedule covering mornings and the middle of the day from Monday to Friday. Please note that this position is not applicable for an automobile and does not require a driver's license. Work is primarily in a commercial office cleaning setting, with the expected start date of the position on the 29th of August, 2023.
