Hi. My name is Jill and I am 24 years old. I hold an ECE diploma so I have a strong background in early childhood education. I am also a Qualified Child Care Supervisor Level 3 according to the Alberta Child Care. I also possess my CPR level C and a police check. I just also graduated with a Health care aid certificate from bow valley college this summer. I have good experiences working with children. I used to work in a daycare taking care of children and did a lot of babysitting jobs. I also had experience working with seniors and elders during my time and practicum at bow valley college. I am originally from the Philippines and I migrated here 14 years ago. I am now a Canadian citizen and I have been blessed and grateful to be able to live in this beautiful country.

I have very good experience with children through my practicum experiences from school from Mount Royal University. I have worked at a day care centre, a Dayhome and did a lot of babysitting jobs. I love my job and working with children are my passion. I really would love to work with children one on one so I can really get to know your child, what his/her interests are and build a meaningful relationship with that child. Through experience and knowledge, I believe children learn best through play and when they have a positive self image. I am also very good at maintaining a healthy and safe environment for children to explore without undue risks. I just also recently completed my Health care aid (nursing attendant) certificate from bow valley college this summer. I got to complete my clinicals and practicum at a long term care working with seniors and foothills hospital. I think its a lot safer for children if the place and surroundings is clean to ensure the safety of the child I am taking care of.
