Growing up my mother ran daycare, later became a manager of preschools in Surrey. I have experience as a babysitter and nanny, and most recently, as an activity leader at a Boys and Girls Club. At my previous job, I was responsible for running daily activities, day camps, and summer camps. My job involved managing the safety of the youth at the centre, as well as running sports activities, crafts, science, homework help, and cooking. I have experience in planning activities, namely Girls Group for 6-9 year olds, and Cultural Corner. I have also had experience coaching children and youth in Track and Field. I have my Level 1 coaching certification, and well as NCCP training in multi-sports and competition development. The majority of my experience comes from being an assistant coach at UBC for their Summer Camps, as well as being the 2012 Junior Development Coordinator for Kajaks Track and Field Club. I have greatly enjoyed being in a mentorship role to children and youth, and am passionate about providing learning experiences to future generations.

I have a Bachelor's degree from UBC in Cultural Anthropology, and am currently pursuing a second BA online for Recreation Management. In addition, I have coaching certifications, sexual abuse training, and other ECE Development workshops.
