I just moved to Red Deer from BC in January and am loving Alberta so far! Caring for children is my gift and my passion, being with children is my happy place and brings me so much joy! I love seeing the world through their eyes, and how every experience is new and exciting! I love all the opportunities they provide for teaching, learning and growing! I believe in consistency, structure, and clear expectations and boundaries. I am fun, patient, caring, nurturing, and energetic. I am a very outgoing individual who remains calm and positive even in stressful situations. I am very creative (love arts and crafts, cooking and baking) and I am enthusiastic about anything I take on. I am an experienced, qualified childcare professional certified in Emergency first aid and CPR level C. I have a current vulnerable sector/Criminal Record check, outstanding references, and a valid AB drivers license, with clear driver's abstract. I have a safe, reliable 4 door car with hook ups for 2 car seats (2007 Toyota Matrix). I have my food safe certificate and I am certified in AB as an Early Childhood Educator Level 1, I have my early years (age 3-6) Montessori Diploma, as well as my Educstion Assistant Diploma for working with special needs children, and I have also completed the first 2 years of my bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria. I believe in keeping active, so we try to go outside everyday, parks, nature walks, and lots of exploring! I have nannied for many families over the years (both live in and live out) and have cared for up to 6 children at a time, ranging in age from 6 months all the way up to 12 years old! I have been able to stay in contact with almost all the children I have nannied for, and still see lots of them often and can provide excellent references! I have tons of other childcare experience including working as the lead teacher at a Montessori Preschool, working in an elementary school with special needs children, running summer camps, and running my own day home.

I am certified in Alberta as an Early Childcare Educator Level 1. I have my Early Years Montessori Diploma and have completed my Education Assistant Diploma. I have also completed 2 years of my bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care at the University of Victoria.
