I am ambitious and driven. I am energetic, hard working and more than ready to take initiative wherever I see fit. I have been working with children for 4 years now, and have gained an increasing love for them. I babysit on a weekly basis for at least 2 children at a time. In my church I have been a GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour) Counsellor for 2 years, with girls grades 2-7 in a classroom setting. I regularly teach Sunday School classes for up to 15 children at a time for one-hour long sessions. As well, for 4 years I have been volunteering in the nursery for infants and toddlers. I love having fun with kids; hearing their laughter, watching them grow, and seeing how the world seems like a big adventure to them. I love the innocence and freshness that children so often obtain. I desire to watch over kids to see qualities such as these develop and see them turn into wonderful young boys and girls. I am confident that I will be able to provide the loving atmosphere full of fun and games, as well as structure and discipline if necessary.
