Hello, my name is Alex . I am currently a student at Grant Macewan university in the education program. I am currenlty studying to be a elementry school teacher. I loe being active and having fun. I have worked at 2 daycares over the past three years, for two of these years i work with the out-of-school care children, meaning elementry aged kids, and for the last year was working with 14 months - 5 years old. I have my level one in child care, and these daycares hae taught me alot about childcare and planning fun activities with the kids. I am a very fun and loving person with tons of paticence. I would be very excited to become a nanny and help in any way I can!

St. Albert Daycare Society- August 2010 to August 2011 Thourought this year, i worked with an out-of school program which dealt with elementry school children before and after school, as well as days off an holidays, and the summer. As a child care assistant I would plan daily activities according with the theme we has planned that month. As a team we would figure out what the children were interested in and would work off that. I have gone on many feild trips including the zoo, many rec centers, parks, and so on which has givien me the knowledge and responsiliblity needed to take care of children in busy settings. In the last three months of my time at this darcare i was working with 14 months to 5 years old. It was an amazing opportunity to work with the little cute ones, i learned to work and take care of the little kids including changing diapers, potty training, feeding, naping and so on. Famoso-August 2011-currently This is a serving job that i have worked for almost 2 years now. Sigis Childcare-April 2012-August 2012 During this time i work at leo nicerson out of school care which included the same care as my duties during st albert daycare society. This included also making the children morning and after school snacks. During this time we had a speacial needs child child for two months. I also have my Level one child-care certificate

I am currently a student at grant macewan in the education transfer program. I am studying to become a elementry school teacher and plan on tranfering to the campus saint-jean. The french U of A. I hope that my french will give me a greater opportunity to obtain my dream of becoming a teacher.
