April 15, 2013 Re:Lorna G To whom it my concern: Lorna keeps our children busy and entertained. She walks our children to and from school regularly, takes them to the zoo, Heritage Park and the science centre frequently, and takes them to thier swimming lessons. During the summer she organizes a steady of play dates and trips to local parks and playgrounds. She frequently does crafts with our children, and respects our son's Lego constructions enough to leave them intact. She taught our kids how to make papers dolls dressed in brightly decorated paper clothes, which has become a favorite activity. Lorna also plays tag and other active games, and reads to our youngest regularly. I never seen her get angry with our kids, yet she does not let them get away with things( our kids are busy, curious and imaginative, so they do sometimes get into trouble.. ). she has shown good judgement when our kids have hurt themselves or tried to do dangerous things. When they are sick, she cares fr them appropriately, with kindness and compassion. Lorna has always proven to be prompt, polite, respectful and reliable. On the morning that all three kids are in school, Lorna cleans our house and does laundry, which is absolutely wonderful. It frees up so much time for us to spend playing with our children on weekends, and for that we are so grateful. When we got a dog last year, keeping our house clean became much bigger challenge, but Lorna took it all in stride. Our children will be in school full time next year, so we will no longer need a caregiver. I know our kids will miss Lorna terribly. I can recommend Lorna wholeheartedly as a caregiver. I have never had to worry about the safety or well-being of ur children, and know that they are well looked after when I am not at home.
