I have an immense amount of experience working within Out-of-School Care organizations. My interests include dance, photography, film-making, painting and being outdoors. I take pride in supporting the healthy development of children and youth by providing a fun, safe, and educational environment.

I have had babysitting experience with two children ages 3 and 5. Additionally, my first practicum placement at the Quadra Village Community Centre within the Out of School Care program. I completed over 120 hours of one-on-one experience with school-aged children in which case some of them had behavioral challenges. That practicum placement recently became a paid job for me a few hours a week. Since that experience I had supported 3-5 year olds at Uvic Child Care Services and 5-11 year olds as well.

I graduated high school in 2012 and I am currently in the process of finishing my undergrad degree at Uvic in the Child and Youth Care program.
