I am Emma and I am a undergraduate student at UVic studying computer science and psychology. I currently work part-time at Happy Campers Child Care with children from 9 months to 12 years of age, and am a soccer coach for young girls in my spare time. I also have been involved with soccer and music throughout my whole life and love sharing my passion for both with kids I work with. My favorite part about working with kids of all ages is being active with them and doing all types of activities whenever possible. I have worked at Happy Campers Child Care since October of 2011. I have worked with children as young as 9 months and up to 12 years. At Happy Campers we do arts and crafts, and outside activities with the children daily, as well as doing multiple out trips throughout the year such as swimming, the beach, parks, and playgrounds. This year I also volunteered as a coach for a U9/10 girls soccer team and became so close to all the players on my team. I hope to continue coaching in coming years. I am an outgoing, positive and responsible role model for kids of all ages and I hope to spend the summer doing lots of activities with kids to create an unforgettable summer for them.
