Hi there moms and dads. From a young age I have always loved taking care of children. Before I could get my babysitting certification, I was helping out with local day camps and in children's nurseries. Finally, when I hit the age of 12, I made sure my first priority was to complete my babysitters course; and I did just that. I have been looking after little guys for 7, going on 8 years now, and I love it all the more now then I did when I first began. I have both my CPR and first aid certification, I could say my family are all sort of "health and medical junkies". My sister and sister in law are both nurses, as is my mom, my brother is an EMT, and my dad, a firefighter. I come from a big family of 7, being the youngest of 5 kids. For as long as I can remember I have been singing, acting, and involved with music and the arts. I graduated from Bert Church High School, and there, grew from an ensemble cast member, to lead female and being rewarded female actress of the year my senior year. For 3 years at BCHS, I was head medical trainer and manager of the Chargers a Football team. I played volleyball for two years, as well, was on the cheerleading team. I also, each year of high school, achieved honors in all of my courses. I have had TONS of nannying experience, including travelling with a family and it being my duty to take the best care of 5 kids, ranging from the age of 6 months, to 6 years.. yes, all at one time (haha. ). I am the kind of nanny who thinks it important to not only have set boundaries and know when discipline needs to happen and HOW to go about disciplining.. but to be able to "be a kid" with the children I look after. To not be stiff and boring, but to simply have fun, to get messy and roll around on the floor with the kids. I find that being this way, children listen and show respect much more than if I were to solely just "do my job" and not have any fun in the process. I am super mature, I adore kids, I am respectful to your wishes as parents and what you expect to be done in a day, what your routine is, and most importantly, will treat your children like how I would want and expect anyone to take are of my own.

Newborns and up - I have done over night, a few days at a time, or just a couple hours here and there. I also offer myself as an extra pair of hands if mom or dad need help while at the park, beach, or a special event. I have worked in nurseries and day camps, away from Alberta and right out of my own home.
