I am currently a university student attending the University of Toronto, studying political science and international relations. I am an Etobicoke, Toronto native, and have extensive experience volunteering with children of all ages. I am a troop leader with Scouts Canada, working with children ages 8 to 14, and have been for the past 4 years. I have volunteered at Etobicoke's 3 Rs Day Care Centre for three summers (children 18 months to 6 years), and have planned and worked at overnight camps in Algonquin Park and southern Ontario (children between 10 and 16 years). I am of Italian and British background, a second generation Canadian and love reading, swimming, working with people and playing the saxophone. I'd like to think I am personable, as I enjoy meeting new people and working with a team. I find working with children of all ages enjoyable, as it is rewarding helping them explore and discover the world around them. I am very comfortable around pets, and do not mind the extra responsibility of taking care of them as well. I am also very punctual and have no problem both working independently and following instructions.

Scouts Canada, troop leader with the Humber West 4th, working with children from 8 to 14 years of age. Weekly meeting planning and supervision, creating a scout program that is both educational and follows the guidelines presented by Scouts Canada. Also planning and supervising weekend and summer scout camps. Volunteer at Etobicoke's 3 Rs Daycare summer program (ages 18 months to 6 years), supervising and participating in daily activities as well as leading excursions. Working at Camp Tamakwa and other southern Ontario overnight summer camps, supervising daily and evening activities, ages 10 to 16. Often on the lakeshore, taking campers canoeing and teaching canoe skills.

High School graduate with CPR and First Aid training, as well as Bronze Cross certification. Currently working towards a bachelors degree at the University of Toronto studying political science and international relations.
