Hi Everyone, My name is Ericka and I am a 23year old student who graduated from the honours Family and Social relations with a minor in psychology at the University of Windsor. I am continuing my education at St. Clair college in september in autism and behavioural science. I am a very friendly outgoing individual, who constantly has a smile on her face and look interacting with children and their families. There are many reasons I love working and being around children, I love promoting a healthy environment for children in order to develop social, cognitive skills, and so forth. My hobbies include reading, playing soccer, being outdoors : camping, hiking, fishing. I have many previous years of babysitting and a 10 year old brother I am super close with. I also have volunteered the past 3 years at Early Connections working with infants up to children of the age of 6, however I feel comfortable working with kids of any age. When I was in elementary school I did reading buddies, and was also a kindergarten helper who supervised the children on lunches and rainy days. I also was a volunteer leader for lunches for the grades 1-4 playing games during recesses when I was in grade 8. In high school , I tutored elementary students in various subjects. I also ran dance fests, volleyball and basketball tournaments for younger grades, took grade 9 students tree planting. I have also babysat for various families since I was 14 and have an 8 year old brother. Most recently I volunteer weekly at an early learning center for children ages 0-6 and involve in various activities with them including reading, play, coloring , snack, etc. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: CPR certificate and G licence
