Hey, I am Candace. I am a mature, responsible 24 year old who loves children and their excitement for life. I have worked in childcare for 4 years and have learned a lot through both practical experiences and class education while completing my Bachelor of Arts with a major in Counselling. During this time I also received my Early Childhood Assistant Certificate, my Foodsafe certificate, my Child Care First Aid, and my Responsible Adult certificate. I love doing arts and crafts, science experiments and sensory activities that expand a child's view of the enviroment around them. I believe a child's curiosity is something's to be developed and encouraged in a controlled atmosphere. Opportunities for choice develop a strong child full of self-esteem. I am looking forward to fostering these experiences and learning with your children.

I grew up as a young teen, babysitting children of family friends. While attending college I worked for a Licensed Child Care centre in Abbotsford, BC (Kids Club Childcare) for 4 years in After School Care and 3-5 year olds. Just recently I moved to Prince George and have been working at the Y as their After School Care Supervisor and also in both the 3-5 year old care and Infant/Toddler care.
