Hi, I am Kate. I am a recent university graduate and I love working with kids, being active and outdoors. I am passionate about dance and have taken classes specializing in movement therapies for infants and children with developmental disabilities. I had a nanny for many years growing up and I know how much of a positive impact a great caregiver can have on a family. I am looking to provide the same experience. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and am passionate about working with children who have developmental disabilities. For three years, I worked with a boy who was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. My responsibilities included schoolwork/tutoring, discrete trial training and occasional respite care. For the past few years, I focused on a different career path but realized that I missed the experience of connecting with a child and family that are dealing with special needs.
