Hi. My name is Gemma. I am 23 years old. I am originally from Ontario. I grew up on an organic cattle farm until the age of 17 with all 8 of my older brothers and sisters. For the past few years, I have worked as a nanny for a family with one son, as well as a camp counsellor for the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. Back home, I have 5 nieces and 7 nephews. They are all 8 years old and younger. I love spending time playing with them outside, exploring, reading, colouring, painting and story telling when I am home. My favourite pass times are walks in nature, reading and singing. I also love to travel and meet new people. I am a very simple, caring and responsible individual. Through all my experience as a nanny, an aunt and camp counsellor, I truly understand and embrace the amount of energy necessary to be present and care for children all day long.

I have worked as a babysitter as a teenager. More recently however, I have provided kids from the kindergarden age to 12 years old a day camp experience as a camp counsellor. September 2013, I cared for my 1 year old niece during entire days while I helped my 4 year old nephew off to school in the mornings and met him off the bus in the afternoon. I fed them all three meals of the day, cleaned the house and bathed the kids before bed time. Last year, I have worked at the Tim Horton Children's Foundation Camp des Voyageurs in Quebec as camp facilitator running winter, summer and fall programs such as snowshoeing, tubing, survival, creative arts and team building activities. I have most recently worked as a bike instructor for Pedalheads teaching kids toget off their training wheels. Needless to say, I am very comfortable and confident working with and caring for children. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: Life Saving Society's : Bronze Medallion

I have graduated high school in 2012, and most recently in February 2014, my 200hr Yoga Teacher training.
